  15.      ccccmmmmpppp____ffffllllaaaasssshhhh updates the firmware stored on the compositor attached to VPRO
  16.      graphics.  Normally, cmp_flash is executed automatically during the
  17.      installation of a new release of IRIX. A customer should rarely need to
  18.      use it directly.  You must have superuser privelege to use this command.

  20.      By default, ccccmmmmpppp____ffffllllaaaasssshhhh probes each VPRO board attached to the system for a
  21.      compositor board, and flashes it to the current revision.
  22.  
  23.      Unless forced, ccccmmmmpppp____ffffllllaaaasssshhhh does not update the firmware unless the
  24.      specified version is newer than what is currently installed.  ccccmmmmpppp____ffffllllaaaasssshhhh
  25.      can be used to obtain information about the current firmware level.

  29.      ----qqqq           Query the currently installed firmware versions.

  31.      ----vvvv           Turn on verbose mode

  34.      The ccccmmmmpppp____ffffllllaaaasssshhhh command is not intended for casual use. If used
  35.      incorrectly, it can prevent the compositor from functioning. Silicon
  36.      Graphics strongly recommends that this command only be used under the
  37.      supervision of a support representative.

  39.      ccccmmmmpppp____ffffllllaaaasssshhhh may take a long time to run.
